About CrowdPower

CrowdPower is a participatory digital platform designed to support the collection, preservation and presentation of collective memory. The system enables users to contribute personal stories, photographs, videos and geotagged material, which can be connected to places and routes and visualised through interactive maps.

Particular emphasis is placed on crowdsourcing, user participation and the documentation of intangible cultural heritage, including memories associated with migration and refugee routes. The platform was developed as part of research on trustworthy mobile services for collective memory management and the use of digital technologies to preserve community narratives and cultural experience.
