About eMuseum

eMuseum is a digital museum environment designed to enhance the visitor experience by connecting museum collections with the wider urban and cultural environment. The system provides access to museum exhibits and related information, supports personalised recommendations and guided tours, and allows visitors to explore cultural content both inside and outside the museum.

Through mobile services, maps and location-based information, eMuseum extends the museum visit into the city by connecting exhibits with artworks, monuments and other points of cultural interest in public space. The approach focuses on visitor-centred services, personalisation and the integration of museum and city experiences through digital technologies.
